The United Nations in Azerbaijan conducted three Youth Dialogues for the Future at ADA University, Baku State University (BSU), and the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), creating a platform for young people to share their perspectives on development and future cooperation.
As part of these dialogues, students reflected on the role of the United Nations in supporting Azerbaijan’s progress. In a short video message, Suat Hamzali (ADA University), Rovshan Mammadli and Huseyn Isayev (UNEC), Gunel Hajialieva (BSU and Youth Climate Envoy), and Zohra Abilova (UN in Azerbaijan UNYAC member) shared their views on how UN initiatives contribute to areas such as education, economic development, and climate action.
The participants expressed optimism about continued collaboration with the United Nations and emphasized the importance of youth engagement in shaping inclusive and sustainable development pathways. Their reflections highlighted a shared vision of a future where young people are empowered as active contributors to innovation, resilience, and progress.
The Youth Dialogues served as an opportunity to strengthen partnerships with academic institutions and to amplify youth voices in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals in Azerbaijan.
