Azerbaijan’s virtual hackathon invites tech solutions from around the world to cope with coronavirus pandemic

- The Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies of Azerbaijan, and the United Nations Development Programe and SUP.VC are organizing a global virtual hackathon on 10-12 April 2020 to crowdsource tech solutions to help people cope with the coronavirus pandemic.

What will the hackathon look like?
It’s fully virtual – from the initial call for ideas to the selection and deployment of prototypes and solutions.
It starts with a call inviting all developers, innovators, companies, NGOs and any active community members to offer tech ideas and solutions to help improve people’s lives during this crisis.
Deadline for applications: 9 April 2020
A total of three prizes will be awarded: 5,000 USD for first place, 3,000 for second place and 2,000 USD for third place.
