Your guide to living free of food waste
22 July 2022
On average, a person wastes 74 kg of food each year, which amounts to 570 million tonnes. While the number is staggering, we can make a difference by taking small actions every day, by changing wasteful habits with new sustainable behaviour.
This booklet is aimed at the general public to get people to realise how their behaviour contributes to the global issue of food waste, to educate them about its negative impacts of it, to empower them to act differently throughout their everyday lives and in different circumstances: at home while shopping when eating out.
